HTC and Under Armour at the CES 2016 tradeshow unveiled UA HealthBox, a connected fitness system kit priced at $400 (Rs. 28.655.16). Made by HTC and powered by Under Armour, the kit includes an activity-tracking wristband, a Wi-Fi enabled weighing scale, and a heart rate monitor, all compatible with Android and iPhone smartphones.

The devices are meant to monitor user's sleep, fitness, activity, and nutrition. The devices connect with the UA Record app to deliver insights. The app is available to download from Google Play and App Store.

The UA Band tracks daily activity, workouts, and sleep. Using the fitness tracker, wearers can set daily goals and track their progress shown in the display. It additionally features an advanced workout mode, in which the display stays on during the workout. The UA Band also has LED indicators that indicate heart rate zone when paired with UA Heart Rate. It comes in Black and Red textured underside with moisture wicking cloth. It however, doesn't have an inbuilt GPS and the heart rate sensor is placed on the underside. It also alerts the user to move around after every 60 minutes like we've seen in Apple Watch. The band can sync with MyFitnessPal account and will be sold separately at $180 (roughly Rs. 12,000). The company however, has not mentioned when it will start shipping the band.

The UA Heart Rate is a compact heart rate monitor that goes around the user's chest during workouts. It features micro snap technology that as per the company makes it undetectable during workouts. Meant to offer an accurate data of calories burned, the chest strap when combined with the UA Record app, lets users customise their hear rate zones. The Bluetooth-enabled strap will be sold separately at $80 (roughly Rs. 5,300).

It also includes LED display behind the glass. The UA Scale can support up to eight users and like aforementioned devices, syncs with the UA Record app. It comes in Black with a Red textured underside.

The US HealthBox will be available starting January 22 in the US. Interested users can pre-order the kit from HTC and UA's dedicated website. It will roll out to other US retailers in Q1 of this year and to international markets throughout 2016.
