The phone comes with a 5.99-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1080x2160 pixels at a pixel density of 403 pixels per inch (ppi) and an aspect ratio of 18:9. Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. It comes with 3GB of RAM. The Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus runs Android 7.1.2 and is powered by a 4000mAh non-removable battery.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus on the rear packs a 12-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a pixel size of 1.25-micron. The rear camera setup has phase detection autofocus. It sports a 5-megapixel camera on the front for selfies.
