Google has reportedly started rolling out a Play store update which brings a host of new features and also includes UI improvements.

Android Police has claimed that the Play Store version 4.6.16 can be expected to roll out in coming weeks; as it has gained access to a signed APK by Google.

According to the site, the upcoming Google Play store update includes features such as batch install in My Apps which, as the name suggests, would allow users to select a number of apps from the My Apps section and install them consecutively. The next major feature introduced is the new 'require the password' option, which will now require users' password for purchases every 30 minutes, instead of the 'every time' or 'never' options. The Settings and Help options have now been moved to the slide-out navigation bar.

The upcoming update to the Play Store app also brings an 'in-app purchases (IAPs) indicator' in the 'app permissions list', and an enlarged Google+'s +1 count on the app listing.

The new Google Play Store app update will also bring tweak in styles and will show the Add button in blue colour, which earlier appeared in white; the names will show up in bold, along with a White border around the profile image of the user, as per Android Police.

Earlier in March, a bug was spotted on the Google Play store under many applications' review sections. The bug allowed users to post their reviews on the corresponding apps' Google Play store pages, but failed to show the names linked with the users' Google+ accounts, instead of just displaying "A Google User."

The bug was first spotted in the review section of the 10000000 app, was later seen to be affecting a variety of popular apps, such as WhatsApp, Facebook, UC Browser and more.
