Xiaomi Mi Sports Bluetooth Headset Youth Edition With IPx4 Rating, Microphone Launched

Mi Sports Bluetooth headset Youth Edition has a battery capacity of 120mAh and weighs just 13.6 grams.

Xiaomi has announced its latest Mi Sports Bluetooth headset Youth Edition in China. The new headset has now been listed for purchase on the company's Youpin portal. Key highlights of the headset include an IPx4 water resistance rating, a claimed 11 hours battery life, Bluetooth v4.1 connectivity, and its lightweight build at just 13.6 grams. The new Mi Sports Bluetooth headset Youth Edition has been priced at CNY 99 (roughly Rs. 990) in China and is available in Black and White colour variants. Back in August last year year, Xiaomi had launched its in-ear Mi Sports Bluetooth Mini headset in its home country.

The Bluetooth headset has a battery capacity of 120mAh and weighs just 13.6 grams. Design of the headset is similar to the model launched in August 2017, and comes with a slight tilt to help fit the contour of your ear well. This design enables the headset to be adjusted all the way at a 360-degree angle. There are volume controls, a play/ pause button, and microphone as well.

Both colours of the headset come with 5 differently-sized adjustable ear tips to suit different user preferences. Xiaomi has also added gold accents on the White colour option.

It is currently unclear as to when the Xiaomi Sports Bluetooth headset Youth Edition will make its way to India, if at all. However, if at all does, it might be priced close to the China price tag, which is around Rs. 1,000.

To recall, the Mi Sports Bluetooth Mini headset was announced in China around the same time last year. With a price tag of CNY 159, this headset also comes with similar features including the same 360-degree design, IPx4 water resistance, lightweight design at just 14.5 grams, and a 110mAh battery.
