The first trailer for the fifth season of HBO's Silicon Valley has arrived, giving us a peek at what to expect from the clueless co-founders of Pied Piper as they take on much bigger challenges, when the show returns in March.

The always-awkward Richard Hendricks (Thomas Middleditch) is back at the helm of his startup after leaving at the start of Season 4 to work on his idea of a new, decentralised Internet. That also means leading a much bigger team, which gives him so much anxiety that when he's called to make opening remarks, he blanks out and then vomits in front of everyone.

Though he got access to the all-important patent from Hooli CEO Gavin Belson (Matt Ross), Hendricks turned down the acquisition offer, which has put them at each other's throats once again. When the two see each other at a fancy black-tie gala event, Belson gets a jibe in, calling it "that little bunny Internet". "New Internet," Hendricks retorts, "New."

There are standard Silicon Valley-type hijinks elsewhere, with Dinesh Chugtai (Kumail Nanjiani) coming across a dead pig in the back of someone's car, and Bertram Gilfoyle (Martin Starr) and Dinesh racing each other in a home-made tricycle and what seems like a Tesla Model S, respectively.

The Pied Piper gang will also have homelessness troubles in the new season, with Jian-Yang (Jimmy O. Yang) taking over the incubator-house, and changing the locks, after Erlich Bachman (T.J. Miller) took off for Tibet. Of course, the real reason was Miller asking to be written out of Silicon Valley.

The fifth season of HBO's Silicon Valley begins March 25. It'll be available on Hotstar in India.
