Disney has released the first teaser trailer for Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2, the upcoming sequel to the 2012 original that finds Wreck-It Ralph (John C. Reilly) leaving the arcade and venturing into the World Wide Web with his best friend Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman).

Set six years after the events of Wreck-It Ralph, the new trailer for Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 begins when a Wi-Fi router is plugged into the arcade. Vanellope and Ralph escape into the Internet, and though they are both excited, the latter has one question: "What is the Internet?" Ralph is amazed to see how vast it is, and is then rudely greeted by very-Internet things: lottery scams, and clickbait articles.

And since cats have become a running gag for the Internet, the two also find themselves at a physical eBay auction for "a black velvet painting for a sorrowful kitten". Ralph feels it's "looking into my soul", and Vanellope adds that it's "really gonna haunt me for a while". The teaser closes with the two crashing a kids' mobile game, taking over the controls, and then causing havoc.

Wreck-It Ralph 2 will also feature a trend-tracking algorithm called Yesss (Taraji P. Henson), and the Disney Princess lineup, including the returning Jodi Benson as Ariel, Paige O'Hara as Belle, Linda Larkin as Jasmine, Irene Bedard as Pocahontas, Ming-Na Wen as Mulan, Anika Noni Rose as Tiana, Mandy Moore as Rapunzel, and Kelly Macdonald as Merida.

Snow White, Cinderella and Aurora will be voiced by new actresses, meanwhile. Other Disney characters will make an appearance too, such as Kristen Bell as Anna and Idina Menzel as Queen Elsa from Frozen, and Auli'i Cravalho as Moana. Jack McBrayer and Jane Lynch are back from the first film, reprising their roles of Fix-It Felix, Jr. and Sergeant Calhoun, respectively.
