Samsung's Galaxy Watch Ultra is the newest member of its Galaxy Watch lineup. It's technically the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, which was launched in 2022. But just like last year, Samsung has spring-cleaned its smartwatch lineup this year by eliminating the Classic model of the standard Watch 7 entirely. And once again, we are left with just two models, which include the new Galaxy Watch Ultra and the Galaxy Watch 7, with the more affordable Galaxy Watch FE still awaiting an India launch.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra is Samsung’s most durable and feature-packed smartwatch yet, designed for users who lead active, high-performance lifestyles. Built with titanium grade 4 and certified with MIL-STD-810H and 10ATM water resistance, it’s engineered to withstand extreme environments—from underwater workouts to rugged mountain trails. The 47mm watch also boasts a bright 3,000-nit display, ensuring visibility even under harsh sunlight.

Beyond durability, the Watch Ultra includes dual-frequency GPS for accurate outdoor tracking and a battery that can last up to 100 hours in power-saving mode. It supports advanced fitness features like Functional Threshold Power (FTP) for cyclists, AI-powered Energy Score, sleep coaching, and multi-sport tracking.
