• Just okay, not great

  I am reviewing this product after 2 yrs of usage! The service of Flipkart was excellent. I bought it by exchanging a Core i5 Sony Vaio, for which I got the best exchange value (I checked all other possible sources). The laptop is just okay. At this price point it should have been much much better. Configuration wise, it has everything that one will ask for like: - With dual HP speakers, HP Audio Boost, and custom tuning by the experts at B&O PLAY, you can experience rich, authentic audio - Easily converts to tablet for notetaking and drawing - Nvidia GeForce 940MX 4GB Graphics - Intuitive touchscreen - MS Office H&S 2016 included and 1 month free MacAfee subscription But the problem are: - Battery is real bad, since the beginning I noticed that with a full charge, it only lasts for 5 hrs max with activities like movie watching, not-so-heavy games etc. - Now that battery life came down to 3 hrs in average, and it does not get charged fully (stops charging after 85-88% range) - Processing speed is not that good, particularly gets slow when it gets updated with software upgrades I think, at this price range, there are better options available.

  Laptop is excellent but check with retailers before buying because at the same price the retailers are offering a lot of freebies with the product. Here I did not get anything not even a laptop bag with a product worth 80k.

  The laptop delivered is having serious issues and the HP laptop is a substandard product. My hard disc got failed to function properly within no time after delivery and the HP is not replacing the product under DOA as I had confirmed the failure and reported it only after 2 weeks. The delivery of the product by flipkart was on time.
