Our weekly series titled Personally Tech talks to executives about the gadgets and apps they can't live without. This week, the MySmartPrice Co-Founder and Director Sulakshan Kumar tells us about his tech setup.

Describe your technology setup - what computer/ phone/ tablet/ camera/ gaming console/ other gadgets do you use?
I use Toshiba Portege R930 Lightweight Laptop with Windows 8 and my primary mobile is Google Nexus 5. I do not own a tablet and I am also not into gaming. I also own a Canon 550D DSLR camera. Apart from this I keep using different mobiles from time to time as a secondary mobile, to keep myself updated with different mobile eco-systems (iOS and Windows). Apart from this I am not much into gadgets. I am more of a software guy and keep trying different apps and software solutions on both mobile and desktop.

What are three apps (mobile/ tablet or PC/ Mac) you couldn't live without?
Trello
, Twitter and Team-BHP. Trello is our primary project management app that we use internally in MySmartPrice and I get all my internal updates using it. Twitter is my primary source of news, I use it more as an app to consume what is popular to read. I am an auto enthusiast and a regular reader of team-bhp.com forum. Their app helps me quickly go over what is going on in auto industry and also keeps me updated around new releases and the reviews of cars.

What is one gadget (other than your phone) you never travel without?
Other than my phone, I never travel without my Bose MIE2i earphones. It's always there in my backpack. Though I am not a big music buff, but whenever I listen to music I love it to be as pure as possible. I really appreciate high quality audio. I also carry a power bank with me, just in case my mobile battery runs out.

What is your dream gadget/ technology setup?
I am currently happy with Window 8 and Android devices as my technology setup and unlike many others I do not want to shift to Apple eco-system as I find it to be too restrictive for my need. My dream gadget setup is big screen high end LED TV along with a Bose home theatre in my home for watching movies.

How has technology changed the way in which you work?
Technology, specifically smartphones have changed the way I work, big time. I manage most of my daily stuff using only a smartphone. In fact other than the regular office work (powerpoints, spreadsheets etc.), I do everything else on my smartphone be it shopping, news, Facebook, photos, music etc. I have made it a point to not open my laptop other than [for] office [work].
