• Excellent phone!

  I was using iphone 4S before upgrading to this phone. And I chose it over iphone 6. Initially I was doubting my decision but after a month of use I feel this phone is in its own different class. Its congruously designed to suit the needs of almost everyone. The gesture touch and the voice control work flawlessly. The technical specifications have been quoted well. And the end performance is incredible. I would recommend it over any other android phone in the market. And the ones who aren't too reliant on the apple ecosystem can also give it a go. It wouldn't disappoint. I have already received the lollipop update for my phone. Though I am yet to update it. However every great machine comes with some inherent even if minor flaws. And I wouldn't recommend you to overlook them. 1) The storage. Mine is a 16 Gb variant and it gives me access to barely 9 Gb. That kills some fun. 2) The battery. Lasts almost 20 hours with moderate use. Less with heavier use. However that's the market norm for most phones with these specs. And I sincerely hope we get phones with longer lasting batteries soon.

• Awsome phone

  Its been a month I'm using this mobile and 2 day back I got Android L (Lollipop), It's really a awesome phone to have. It's feels like having Nexus series phone with you since it's a stock android phone. I was using a Samsung phone prior to this and had very bad experience with it. After seeing the price of Nexus 6, I decided to go for moto x 2nd Gen and I'm very happy with my decision. Best design, awesome display, very handy. Outstanding phone. Don't look at the price, it really worth it. Hardware specs are very impressive and performance also very good. After getting Lollipop, its became very fast and quick access to frequently used utilities like torch, tethering shortcut in notification bar make life easy and there are much more available. I can't explain all because "Experience can't be explained, you need to experience it.." Overall its a best phone of 2014. Those who feel Nexus 6 is big on price and size this will be a gem for them. Just go for it.

• An iPhone for the android purists!

  After using my moto x for couple of days here's what I think about it ~the full white with a gold trim just looks like a jewel ( yes got it customized) ~the display is brilliant though doesn't get very bright ~the ergonomics is just spot on ~the audio quality is awesome, be it the speaker or though the audio jack ~stock android flies on this phone, no lags no stutters ~camera is inconsistent (takes brilliant pictures sometimes as well as poor ones) ~battery life is good( not great) I got the phone for 27k in the us, but even at 34k it's superb value It's a phone which just gets the work done :)
