LG launched its G5 flagship smartphone along with its 'friends', a set of modular add-ons and a host of accessories, at MWC 2016 on Sunday.
Seen here is the removable battery of the LG G5, which also fits onto other modules such as the LG Cam Plus, and Hi-Fi Plus with B&O Play.
LG this time has once again gone ahead with a QHD display, something it had pioneered with the LG G3. The LG G5 features a 5.3-inch display with a resolution of 1440x2560 pixels.
LG has included two rear cameras on the G5, a 16-megapixel offering, and a wide-angle 8-megapixel offering. As per LG, the wide angle lens makes it easier for users to capture more landscape, taller buildings or larger groups without having to position oneself further from the subject.
The LG G5 runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, skinned with LG's own UI on top.
LG is also touting the Always-On display feature - something Samsung also implemented on the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, allowing users to check time, notifications and battery status among other pieces of information.
LG has experimented with different build materials with its LG G3 and LG G4 flagships, but with the G5, it has gone with a metal build.
The smartphone features a USB Type-C slot with the USB 3.0 specification, seen above.
