iBall Andi 5U Platino With 5-Inch Display Listed on Company Site

iBall seems set to launch the Andi 5U Platino smartphone, as the company has listed it on its site. For now, there is no official word on the availability and pricing of the iBall Andi 5U Platino; however, we expect an announcement in the coming days.

The dual-SIM-based Andi 5U Platino runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It comes with a 5-inch (540x960 pixels) qHD IPS display with a pixel density of 220ppi. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM.

It comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera also on board. On the connectivity front, the Andi 5U Platino offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, A-GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options. The smartphone packs a 2000mAh battery and is listed in Black colour. The iBall listing notes that the handset features multi-language support with up to 8 regional languages supported.

iBall last month launched the Andi HD6 smartphone at Rs. 6,999 while listing the Cobalt 6 on its website.

The iBall Andi HD6 features a 6-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display and supports dual SIMs. Other specifications of the smartphone are Android 4.4 KitKat, 1.3GHz quad-core processor; 1GB of RAM; 8GB of inbuilt storage, and expandable storage support via microSD card (up to 32GB). There is an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash on board apart from a 5-megapixel front camera. The iBall Andi HD6 is backed by a 3000mAh battery.

The iBall Cobalt 6, on the other hand, features a 6-inch (1080x1920 pixels) full-HD TFT display. Other specifications include a 1.7GHz octa-core processor; 2GB of RAM; 16GB of built-in storage; expandable storage support via microSD card; an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera; 8-megapixel front-facing autofocus camera, and a 3000mAh battery.
