Intex Aqua Life III With 5-Inch Display, Android 5.1 Launched at Rs. 5,199

Intex, soon after launching the Cloud Swift smartphone, has now launched the Aqua Life III. Priced at Rs. 5,199, the smartphone is now listed on the company's site with pricing details.

The Intex Aqua Life III is the third model in the company's Aqua Life range of smartphones - the other two are the Intex Aqua Life and Aqua Life II.

The Aqua Life III is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device which runs the recent Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. It comes with a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).

It sports an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard. The camera features scene detection, face recognition, low light enhancement, Panorama, geo tagging, burst shot, smile shot, and HDR options.

On the connectivity front, the Aqua Life III offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options.

The smartphone packs a 2000mAh battery, which according to the official listing is rated to deliver up to 10 hours of talk time and up to 300 hours of standby time. The Aqua Life III measures 145x73.2x8.9mm; weighs 157 grams, and is listed in Black, Champagne, Gold, and White. It packs sensors such as accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.

Last week, the Intex Cloud Swift was launched at Rs. 8,888 exclusively on Snapdeal. The company also offered a 1-year screen breakage warranty with the Cloud Swift smartphone. The dual-SIM Intex Cloud Swift runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, and features a 5-inch (720x1280 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 320ppi. The Intex smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735A SoC, coupled with 3GB of RAM.
