 
                 
            
            Intex has launched its first handset of the month, named Intex Aqua Speed, at Rs. 7,444. The smartphone is available to buy exclusively from eBay India at a discounted price of Rs. 7,299.
The Intex Aqua Speed is a dual-SIM supporting smartphone that runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. The company however, adds that the handset is upgradeable to Android 5.0 Lollipop in future. It is worth noting that until now, Intex has launched only one smartphone running Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box, the Aqua Star L.
The budget smartphone features 4.5-inch qHD (540x960 pixels) resolution IPS display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and Mali 450 MP2 GPU. The Intex Aqua Speed also equips an 8-mgeapixel rear camera with f/2.8 aperture and LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for video chatting purposes.

The Intex Aqua Speed comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB). The smartphone also offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM radio, and GPS connectivity options. A 1700mAh battery backs the handset and is rated to deliver up to 4-5 hours of talk time and 180 hours of standby time.
Measuring 136x68x8.9mm, the Intex Aqua Speed weighs 120 grams and is available in Black, White, Coffee and Grey colour variants. Some of the preloaded apps that come with the smartphone are Matrabhasha, Opera Mini, OLX, Newshunt, and more.
