Lava Iris X1 Selfie With Front LED Flash Launched at Rs. 6,777

After launching its first Android One handset, the Pixel V1 handset for Rs. 11,350, Lava on Friday introduced the sixth smartphone under its 'Iris X1' portfolio, dubbed the Iris X1 Selfie. The selfie-focused smartphone is priced at Rs. 6,777 and will be available to purchase starting next week from online retail stores and other multi-brand outlets.

The Lava Iris X1 Selfie, as the name indicates, comes with selfie-focused features such as 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash, and the company's native Beauty-Fi Software for face slimming, smoothing, eye widening and whitening features, as well as other camera modes such as Panorama, HRD Mode, Video Mode, Capture Mode (Smile, Gesture, Voice, Touch), and Burst Mode. The budget handset also houses an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash.

The Android 5.0 Lollipop-based Lava Iris X1 Selfie is a dual-SIM dual standby mobile device that sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854x480 pixels) resolution IPS display and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor clocked at 1.3GHz, clubbed with 1GB of DDR3 RAM.

The Iris X1 Selfie comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB). In the connectivity section, the smartphone offers 3G, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, GPS, and Bluetooth options. Measuring 133.5x66.0x8.5mm, the device weighs 140 grams and is backed by a 2000mAh Li-Po battery which is rated to deliver up to 13 hours of talk time in 2G and 8 hours 30 minutes of talk time in 3G. The smartphone would arrive in Icy White, Royal Black, and Purple colour variants.
