LG India, soon after starting pre-bookings for the G4 smartphone, has confirmed June 19 India launch date for the handset. The company revealed the launch date via an advertisement in a newspaper, with a launch event in Mumbai.

Notably, the promotional material has also affirmed that the G4 launching in India will support dual-SIM, a fact that was initially absent but is now also displayed on the company's pre-booking page. Recently, a Mumbai-based retailer claimed that the LG G4 would launch at Rs. 51,500 in a dual-SIM variant. Additionally, a third-party online retailer also started selling the dual-SIM variant of the LG G4 at Rs. 49,999. Both these incidents indicate that we might only see the dual-SIM variant of the LG G4 launched in India later this month.

Considering that LG has already launched two dual-SIM variants of the G4, the LG G4 Dual SIM (H818P) and LG G4 Dual SIM (Dual LTE) (H818N) in select countries last month, we can expect one of these variants to be unveiled at the June 19 event.

The specifications of the LG G4 Dual SIM and LG G4 Dual SIM (Dual LTE) are identical to the original LG G4, except for the inclusion of an extra SIM card slot.
