LG Q7 With IP68 Rating, 18:9 Display Launched in India: Price, Specifications

South Korean phone manufacturer LG has launched its latest mid-range smartphone LG Q7 in the Indian market, a few months after the phone was announced in its home country. The LG Q7 comes with IP68 water and dust resistance rating, and MIL-STD 810G certification. Key highlights of the smartphone include a full-HD+ display, a USB Type-C port, and face unlock capabilities. The LG Q7 also comes with QLens that lets users use the camera to improve the image searching and online shopping experience. The company claims that the Q7's battery can get up to 60 percent of juice in about 60 minutes.

LG Q7 price in India, availability

The LG Q7 price in India is set at Rs. 15,990 for the lone 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage configuration. It will be made available in Aurora Black and Moroccan Blue colour variants in India starting September 1 across all leading retail stores in the country.

LG Q7 specifications

The LG Q7 runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box, and sports a 5.5-inch full-HD+ (1080x2160 pixels) FullVision panel with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a pixel density of 442ppi. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core SoC clocked at 1.8GHz, coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. There is a 3,000mAh battery under the hood of the smartphone.

In terms of optics, the LG Q7 sports a single 13-megapixel rear camera sensor with PDAF and an LED flash. On the front, the handset bears an 8-megapixel camera wide-angle sensor with selfies and video calling. Connectivity options on the LG Q7 include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, NFC, FM radio, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors onboard include a face unlock sensor and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Dimensions of the LG Q7 are 143.8x69.3x8.4mm and weight is 145 grams.
