Meizu may not have revealed plans to launch a mini-variant of its Pro 5 smartphone; though a third-party online retailer has listed the handset ahead of any official launch. Listed as Meizu Pro 5 mini, the handset has been priced at EUR 359.99 (approximately Rs. 26,000) at a European online retailer.

The dual-SIM based Meizu Pro 5 mini features a 4.7-inch full-HD display and is seen to be powered by a 64-bit Helio X20 MT6797 processor clubbed with 3GB of RAM. To recall, the Pro 5 was backed by a Samsung Exynos 7420 octa-core processor (quad-core 2.1GHz Cortex-A57 + quad-core 1.5GHz Cortex-A53) coupled with Mali T760 MP8 GPU. The Pro 5 was launched in two RAM variants - 3GB and 4GB.

Running Android 5.1 Lollipop with the company's Flyme OS, the Pro 5 mini is listed to pack 32GB of inbuilt storage and support expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB). There is a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera on board as well. The handset is backed by a 3050mAh battery and supports 4G LTE.

Of course since this is a third-party online retailer, one cannot be certain if these will be the official specifications and price when the phone is unveiled.

Last month, Meizu's flagship smartphone, the Pro 5, was announced to be delayed until November. The delay was said to be caused due to a flood at the company's factory in Guangdong. The company representatives had detailed that the factory affected by the floods was used to manufacture the unibody chassis of the Meizu Pro 5 smartphone.
