Ahead of Google's Monday event, where the company is expected to announce Android One smartphones in the country, the 3 confirmed launch partners - Micromax, Karbonn, and Spice - have already teased their handsets on social platforms.

Additionally, Spice's first Android One smartphone, Android One Dream Uno (Mi-498), was briefly listed on Flipkart.

It's worth noting that all 3 firms have confirmed that their Android One smartphones will be available to buy starting 3:30pm IST Monday on their respective exclusive online retailer partners.

For the uninitiated, Android One smartphones are Google's attempt to regain control of the customer experience in the entry-level segment with their affordable price tag and near-stock Android software.

Notably, Amazon India had teased the upcoming Micromax Android One smartphone as well, with a Facebook post on Saturday.

Karbonn, on the other hand, has chosen Snapdeal as its exclusive online retailer for its first Android One smartphone. The teaser post by Karbonn on Saturday said, "If you #NoHave the funkiest, coolest, smartest, awesomest smartphone, then get ready to be surprised!"

Lastly, Spice, joining the teaser bandwagon, revealed in a Facebook post that its Android One smartphone will be exclusively available on Flipkart. Last week, Spice Retail had announced that it will sell select Spice Mobiles handsets via e-commerce store Flipkart, only under an agreement.

The teaser post by Spice said, "Hold your breath for something amazing coming your way."

Spice's first Android One handset, the Android One Dream Uno (Mi-498), was briefly listed ahead of Google's Monday event by online retailer partner Flipkart, revealing the handset's specifications and price. However, the listing was soon pulled down.

Spice Android One Dream Uno (Mi-498) is listed at Rs. 6,999 and runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.

Other specifications include dual-SIM support; a 4.5-inch (480x854 pixels) IPS FWVGA display; 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor; 1GB of RAM; 4GB of inbuilt storage; expandable storage support via microSD card (up to 32GB); a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash; a 2-megapixel front camera; Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, and a 1700mAh battery.
