New reports once again point to Motorola working on a 'shatterproof' smartphone for a launch this year. Last week, the Motorola Bounce made it to news alongside an image and specifications. Now, new reports point to an official name - Moto X Force - and tip launch date, price, and Moto Maker support.

Unfortunately, there is no official word from the company on what 'shatterproof' actually means; though it could indicate a MIL-STD rating. The Motorola 'Bounce' X Force smartphone is tipped to launch in in December at CNY 4,000 (approximately Rs. 42,000).

The leak comes from Chinese tipster @upleaks who in a Weibo (Chinese equivalent of Twitter) post has included several details of the Moto X Force. Based on @upleaks post, it seems that Motorola may launch the Moto Bounce in some regions as Moto X Force. The phone was first reported by Mobipicker.

For specifications, the Motorola Moto X Force is tipped to feature a 5.43-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels) resolution display; Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor clocked at 2GHz, 3GB of RAM; a 21-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The Moto X Force is said to come in 32GB and 64GB storage variants with expandable storage support. Motorola is also rumoured to bring Moto Maker customisation option.
