Nokia has announced on its official blog that the company has started rolling out a new software update for Lumia 710 and 800 smartphones. This update brings several new features including Internet sharing and flip-to-silence.

Lumia 710 and 800 users will now be able to share their 3G data connection over Wi-Fi with up to five other devices. As for flip-to-silence, well, users can now turn their phone face down and all incoming phone calls and alerts will be muted.

That's not all. The software update will also allow users to download some new Nokia apps from the Windows Phone Marketplace next month. One of these apps is Camera Extras, which enhances the camera capabilities of the smartphone.

The software update is now available for Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 smartphones running on Windows Phone 7.5. Users can get the update by connecting their phones via the Zune software on a PC or Windows Phone 7 connector on Mac.
