We have been treated to a number of leaks regarding Nokia's next event, officially due to be held in Abu Dhabi in October 22, and despite it being just a month away, the rumours have not stopped. The latest points to a new accessory, allegedly called the Treasure Tag.

An image of the rumoured new Treasure Tag accessory expected to be launched on October 22 has been leaked on Twitter by prolific phone tipster, @evleaks and the tweet said, "Pretty special?" Earlier, it was reported that Nokia's event scheduled for next month will see six new devices where the company is also likely to unveil a range of new accessories out of which one would be 'pretty special'.

The leaked image of the expected Treasure Tag accessory seems authentic and also in-line with our earlier reports that claimed Nokia was working on a proximity sensor accessory with the same name for its Lumia phones, that would allow users to track items through an app.

The device is said to stay 'always on' and it would come with a battery that will last six months. It's worth pointing out that the rumoured Treasure Tag is said to work with Bluetooth 4.0 and Bluetooth Low Energy standards.

Recently, Nokia teased its forthcoming announcement and confirmed the location of the event to be Nokia World, Abu Dhabi. The Finnish manufacturer is expected to unveil two new Lumia devices, the Nokia 1520 phablet and the Nokia Lumia 2520 Windows RT tablet, alongside four new devices.
