The OnePlus X Champagne variant will be available to purchase in India from midnight on Tuesday. Users with a regular Onyx variant OnePlus X invite can purchase the smartphone via Amazon India at Rs. 16,999 - the same price as the Onyx variant.

Originally a China-exclusive, the Champagne edition was earlier this month made available in European markets. Under the hood, there is no difference in the specifications of the Champagne edition to the other two versions of the OnePlus X - Onyx and Ceramic.

To refresh, the OnePlus X features a 5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display; powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 801 quad-core SoC clocked at 2.3GHz, and 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM.

Other features of the OnePlus X include 16GB of built-in storage expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB), a 13-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front facing snapper, and a 2525mAh non-removable battery. The dual-SIM capable smartphone supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and other standard connectivity features. Like the OnePlus 2, it features a hardware Alert Slider, and capacitive keys. The smartphone has a metal frame, and dual speaker grilles on the bottom panel.

OnePlus recently had announced that its OnePlus X would be available without invites every Tuesday. Unfortunately, the open sale on every Tuesday for the OnePlus X doesn't apply to Indian consumers, who require a country-specific invite.

The smartphone was launched in India in October in its Onyx variant, but has yet to see availability of India-specific invites for the limited edition Ceramic variant. Only 10,000 units total will be produced.
