Reliance Digital on Thursday launched its third Reconnect smartphone, dubbed RPSPE4701, at Rs. 12,999.

Available to buy from the Reliance Digital website, the Reconnect RPSPE4701 is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core (unspecified) Cortex-A7 processor, coupled with 1GB of DDR3 RAM.

While an increasing number of smartphones are launched with Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box, the Reconnect RPSPE4701 still runs on the out-dated Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box.
