Xiaomi 12 Lite has been launched globally. The smartphone comes with a triple rear camera setup with a 108-megapixel primary rear camera. The 12 Lite is powered by the Snapdragon 778G SoC. Xiaomi has been teasing the launch of the smartphone for a couple of weeks now. The phone gets four colour options and houses a 4,300mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging. The handset has a sleek 7.29mm thin design and weighs just 173g. Pre-orders for the phone will start today via Xiaomi's authorised online channels.

Xiaomi 12 Lite price

The Xiaomi 12 Lite comes in three storage options —6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, which is priced at $399 (roughly Rs. 31,600), 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model, which carries a price tag of $449 (roughly Rs. 35,600), and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option, which has a price tag of $499 (roughly Rs. 39,600).

The handset has been launched in three colour variants —Black, Lite Green, and Lite Pink. Pre-orders for the handset has started today and the Xiaomi 12 Lite can be purchased via Xiaomi's authorised online channels.

The dual-SIM Xiaomi 12 Lite is equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 778G SoC. The smartphone runs on MIUI 13 with Android 12. The smartphone sports a 6.55-inch AMOLED full-HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 20:9, has 2,400 x 1,080 pixel resolution, and a peak brightness of 950nits. The handset features both HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support and comes with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz.

For optics, the Xiaomi 12 Lite houses a triple rear camera setup with a 108-megapixel main camera featuring Samsung HM2 sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. For selfies and video calls, the handset sports a 32-megapixel front camera with Samsung GD2 sensor, and gets autofocus with the Xiaomi Selfie Glow feature.

Connectivity options on the Xiaomi 12 Lite include USB Type-C, NFC, Bluetooth v5.2, and Wi-Fi 6. As mentioned earlier, the smartphone also features a pair of stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos special audio technology for better sound quality.
