Amidst several Xiaomi Mi 5 leaks, a new Xiaomi smartphone believed to be the Redmi 3 is said to have passed Tenaa, Chinese telecommunications certification authority.

Bearing model name Mi 2015811, the listing confirmed most of the specifications that have been surfacing on the Web for the past few months. The listing shows the smartphone, thought to be the Redmi 3, in images too.

As per the Tenaa listing of the Mi 2015811, thought to be the Xiaomi Redmi 3, the smartphone features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) resolution TFT display and will pack an octa-core CPU under-the-hood clocked at 1.5GHz that's clubbed with 2GB of RAM.

Furthermore, the 4G LTE-supporting handset in question might arrive featuring a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Also seen in the Tenaa listing is 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB). The handset is said to run to measure 139.3x69.6x8.5mm and weigh 143 grams, and run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. It will be available in Silver colour variant.
