Xiaomi, ahead of its July 27 China event, has started teasing the upcoming Redmi Pro smartphone. In a couple of Weibo posts, the company hinted that the smartphone will feature an Oled display and may be powered by a deca-core processor.

In the first Weibo teaser, celebrity Chef Liu Shi Shi is claimed to cook an "Oled Ping" indicating at the presence of an Oled display upfront. In another Weibo post, Shi is said to be making a "ten nuclear double stem head" dish, appearing to indicate the presence of deca-core processor. The new teaser corroborates an earlier leak that claimed that the Xiaomi Redmi Pro would feature a deca-core MediaTek MT6797M processor and will pack 3GB of RAM.

Previous leaks have also suggested that the handset is said to run MIUI on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. There have been rumours that hinted a 4GB of RAM variant also exists. The Redmi Pro was also purportedly spotted on Geekbench benchmark, scoring 1218 in single-core tests while 4183 on multi-core test.

The volume rockers and the power button both were seen sitting on the right side of the phablet. The handset is said to come with fingerprint scanner on the front. The Redmi Pro is also expected to sport two cameras at the back placed below each other vertically.
