Xolo Q1000S with 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 5-inch HD display to launch for Rs. 16,999

Xolo is gearing up to launch another smartphone in the Indian market. The smartphone will be called Xolo Q1000S and will be launched by the end of July.

According to details available exclusively to NDTV Gadgets, the Xolo Q1000S will be priced at Rs. 16,999. Xolo Q1000S will come with 5-inch HD display and will be powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor.

For camera, Xolo Q1000S will come with a 13-megapixel rear snapper and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone will run on Android Jelly Bean.

In terms of design, this smartphone will be just 6.8mm thick. From the specifications that are available now, it looks like the Xolo Q1000S will be competing head on with the recently launched Micromax Canvas 4 and Karbonn Titanium S9.

Xolo is already offering Xolo Q600, Q700, Q800, and Q1000 in its 'Q' Series and their price varies from Rs. 8,999 to 14,999. The flagship smartphone for Xolo is the X1000, which comes with a 2GHz Intel processor and is priced at Rs. 19,999.

Apart from this, the Indian smartphone maker will also be launching Xolo Play T1000 smartphone on July 15, 2013 for Rs. 15,999. This smartphone is powered by Nvidia Tegra 3 processor as we had reported earlier.

Xolo Play T1000 will have 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 720X1280 pixels and pixel density of 312ppi. Internally, the smartphone will have 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded by up to 32GB through a microSD card.

Xolo Play will run on Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean). For camera, there is an 8-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor and a 2-megapixel front snapper. The smartphones comes with a 2,000mAh battery on board. The rear camera also supports 1080pixel video recording.

Xolo Play will be a single SIM smartphone and will support 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS/ aGPS.
