Why the Rs. 4,999 Mobiistar CQ Is the Envy of the Budget Segment Right Now

By Sponsored Content | Updated: 22 June 2018 17:54 IST

The idea of a budget phone is very different these days. A few years back, phones under Rs. 10,000 would be considered as budget, but now that category has shifted closer to the Rs. 15,000 segment. What you have under Rs. 10,000 bracket now are the entry-level handsets - your first phones, if you may. But now, Vietnamese smartphone maker Mobiistar has brought a new offering to India that could change the perception of the 'entry-level' segment. Meet the new Mobiistar CQ!

The Mobiistar CQ boasts a handy 5-inch HD display with a 2.75D curved glass, that gives it the premium contour towards the edges. It's powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor paired with Adreno 308 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The processor's system speed is boosted to 1.4GHz making the Mobiistar CQ a stellar performer across apps and games. There's 16GB of internal storage for your photos, videos, apps and games, which can be further expanded to 128GB via a microSD card. Unlike the competition, Mobiistar hasn't cut any corners by giving you a hybrid SIM slot in it's dual-SIM phone, and you get a separate, dedicated slot for the microSD card.

The biggest highlights of the Mobiistar CQ however are its cameras. It has a 13-megapixel selfie camera with multiple Beautify levels and upgraded photo-processing algorithms. Not only is the CQ's selfie camera optimised to capture great images, its beauty filter can brighten and soften the skin, enlarge eyes and enhance the v-line of the face presenting the best version of you. The beauty filter has been carefully designed to bring out your natural beauty, and not make your skin look pasty or plastic-like. The best part is, it also has a very impressive 8-megapixel rear camera with a large f/2.0 aperture for well exposed shots under any lighting condition.

The Mobiistar CQ runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat and boasts a generous 3000mAh battery backup. It's feature-list includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM, 3G and 4G. Along with 4G, the CQ also supports VoLTE and also ViLTE, which allows you to have a point-to-point or a multi-party video call. It's incredible how much goodness comes packed inside the Mobiistar CQ. The best part is, it's priced amazingly well.

At just Rs. 4,999, the Mobiistar CQ already disrupts the entry-level phone segment - but the good news doesn't just end there. Mobiistar has tied up with Flipkart for some great offers including a guaranteed Rs. 1,000 product exchange offer on any smartphone. In addition to that, for just an additional Rs. 99, the Mobiistar CQ comes with a Complete Mobile Protection plan that covers the CQ in cases of hardware or software issues, broken screen and even liquid damage. All this with doorstep pickup and drop service.
