HTC, after being rumoured to make the Nexus 10 device, is once again being rumoured to be working on wearable devices tipped to be introduced in the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2014 event in Barcelona, which starts from 24 February.

Bloomberg reports the Taiwanese smartphone-maker is getting ready to showcase three of its wearable devices at MWC 2014, of which two will be smartwatches and one will be a wristband focusing on playing music tracks.

Of the two rumoured HTC smartwatches, one is said to be a prototype based on the existing Qualcomm Toq smartwatch. The device is expected to come with Qualcomm's Mirasol display technology and Bluetooth connectivity, while the other one will be featuring Google Now voice command service and an AMOLED screen. The smartwatches are said to get released by Christmas this year.

The reports also mention HTC is still far from introducing any such device, so the HTC fans might not get enough information next week at the event.

Besides the rumoured wearables, HTC's next-gen HTC One, HTC M8 or HTC One 2014 is said to see the light of day at the firm's event scheduled for 25 March. The handset's image, what seems like an official press shot, has been leaked by @evleaks.

The leak, arrived right after the previous image leak of the HTC M8 in a protective over case by the popular smartphone tipster, showing what looks like the HTC Sense 6.0 UI integrated with Android KitKat 4.4 OS on the screen. Gold and Silver colour options were also tipped.

HTC Desire 8 mid-range device was recently confirmed by the firm via its Sina Weibo account. The post from Weibo showcases a Desire 8 screenshot, and clearly indicates the lack of extravagant marketing budget. The second image, however, shows the Sense UI highlighting the date and time - 10am, 24 February, the commencing date for the Mobile World Congress event scheduled to take place in Barcelona.
