Blenders Pride Fashion Tour kicked off 2020 with a grand celebration of Indian fashion while marking the 15th edition of the tour. For 15 years, Blenders Pride Fashion Tour has brought leading Indian designers to showcase their unique collections, highlighting their sense of fashion, sparking a whole new revolution in the fashion industry.

With a promise to turn bigger and bolder each year, the 15th grand edition of Blenders Pride Fashion Tour celebrated a whole new face of fashion in 2020 with its finale titled 'The Pride of India'. The finale featured the collections of 15 iconic Indian designers – Anju Modi, JJ Vallaya, Raghavendra Rathore, Suneet Varma, Gaurav Gupta, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Abraham & Thakore, Monisha Jaising, Namrata Joshipura, Rohit Gandhi & Rahul Khanna, Anamika Khanna, Manish Malhotra, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, Ashish Soni, and the late Wendell Rodricks.

The premier event concluded in Mumbai last week with a larger-than-life showcase of some of the most splendid designs by popular Indian fashion designers. The event kicked off with global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas walking the ramp and introducing 'The Pride of India' theme, featuring a unique collection of Indian designs on the theme of Craft, Identity and Blend.

This year, Blenders Pride Fashion Tour transformed into a festival of fashion by introducing new formats of The Showcase, Collection Gallery and Style Forum, to bring out many shades and aspects of the Indian fashion industry.

The Showcase is an incubation platform for young and aspiring talent in fashion. This year the Showcase presented three young designers – Sushant Abrol, Stanzin Palmo and Ikshit Pande; along with three promising models – Preethy Prabhakaran, Poojan Solanki, and Ritu Chauhan.

In this year's edition, Blenders Pride Fashion Tour also joined hands with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) to showcase the evolution in the Indian fashion industry through the ‘Collection Gallery' an exquisite exhibit of over 100 stunning Indian designs.

The collaboration with FDCI also presented the Style Forum, the platform that brought many industry stalwarts together for an engaging conversation on the fashion industry in India and its future, catching the attention of lots of young minds aspiring for a career in fashion.

There's no doubt this year is off to an incredible start when it comes to the Indian fashion world, thanks to Blenders Pride Fashion Tour. One can only imagine what the next year would have in store for fashion enthusiasts.
