The Nokia 8 is here and it signals HMD Global’s intentions to step into the flagship smartphone market and we talk about the smartphone’s chances in the Indian market on this episode of Orbital. Joining host Pranay Parab are Android enthusiasts Roydon Cerejo and Aditya Shenoy.

Then we talk about the Nokia 8’s heat management solution, which is essentially vapour cooling. Aditya and Roydon dissect the technology and sort the wheat from the chaff. Both of them explain why HMD Global has gone with this solution and what kind of applications could benefit from this the most.

Finally, we talk about the software on the Nokia 8 and whether people are likely to get updates quickly. We mention the price and availability of the Nokia 8 too. The podcast ends with our two experts taking educated guesses about the Nokia 8’s India price.
