Forza Motorsport 7 is available now and games editor Rishi Alwani, friend of the podcast Mikhail Madnani, and host Pranay Parab have all been playing it on different machines. Rishi played Forza Motorsport 7 on a PC, Mikhail on an Xbox One S, and Pranay on the Xbox One. A large chunk of this episode, naturally, was spent talking about Forza 7. The first thing on the agenda is the gameplay and how it has evolved since Forza 6, with a brief mention of Forza Horizon 3 as well. Then we discuss the controversial prize crates in Forza 7, and whether that should be a part of a AAA game for which people pay a big sum up front.

This is where Rishi and Mikhail compare these prize crates with other loot box systems from various games and we wonder whether these were necessary. Then we speak about how the game performs on various systems, mods in Forza 7, various race types, and whether the game is worth playing. The discussion moves on to NBA 2K18 and the microtransactions in that game, following which we wonder whether this is what AAA gaming has come to. There are several comparisons with App Store and Google Play as we try to explain where this trend began and why it refuses to end.

No episode of Transition is complete without a mention of Playerunknown's Battlegrounds since it is among the world's most popular PC games right now. On this episode we talk about reports of people seeing advertisements in the game. PUBG's fans weren't pleased and we talk about the repercussions of this move. We also mention an upcoming version of PSVR and Star Wars Battlefront 2 briefly, before moving on to the games we've been playing this week. This includes Forza Motorsport 7The WitnessBattle Chasers Night WarGolf Story, and Etrian Odyssey V.
