What Indian Companies are Doing at the World's Biggest Tech Show

Gadgets 360 attended the 2018 edition of Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, USA. On this episode, deputy reviews editor Roydon Cerejo and host Pranay Parab recap all the major announcements from the expo. Disclosure: Intel and Dell respectively sponsored Roydon and Pranay’s tickets and hotel for the event.

We begin by talking about Intel’s major announcements at CES 2018, which includes discussion about the Meltdown and Spectre bugs that surfaced just a few days ahead of the world's biggest tech show. We talk about other interesting topics such as Intel's partnership with AMD to build a chip, its focus on VR and AR, apart from Intel's efforts in improving sports broadcasting and creating more immersive streams for people to watch.

Then we mention some Dell's biggest announcements from the event. This includes some really cool laptops and desktops that the company announced, apart from a discussion around Dell's budget products, particularly aimed at India. We then talk about the big Alexa vs. Google showdown at the CES and try to look at which of the two companies won CES, if at all. 

Then we mention all of the biggest announcements from Indian companies, including a 3D printer and a robot made in India. Finally, we wrap up this episode of Orbital by talking about Nvidia's GeForce Now game streaming service, which we got a chance to check out at CES.
