Acer at the ongoing Computex 2015 event at Taipei has launched two tablets under its Iconia series, the Iconia One 8 (B1-830), which is the successor to Iconia One 8 (B1-820), and Iconia One 7 (B1-760HD). Announced in a pre-event press release, the tablets are being said to arrive in coming months. The company is however, expected to give details on the specifications, price and the release dates of the tablets during the event. Acer also introduced the Chromebox CX12, and the new Aspire Switch 11 V 2-in-1 laptop.

The Acer Iconia One 8 (B1-830) (seen above) runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box alongside the company's own Acer Precision Plus technology, which lets users write on the tablet screen using instruments like pencil and others. The tablet sports 8-inch display and is powered by an unspecified octa-core MediaTek processor. Not all the specifications of the tablets are known as of now.

The pre-event press release fails to mention much details on the Acer Iconia One 7 (B1-760HD) (seen below). However, a 7-inch IPS display with HD (720x1280 pixels) resolution is suggested for the device. Also, the tablet would be arriving in multiple colour variants.

Besides the tablet duo, Acer also launched its Chromebox CX12 (seen below). Acer is not new to creating Google's Chromebox as it last year launched its Acer Chromebox CXI. The price and launch details of the device is still kept a secret by the firm.

The Chromebox CX12 comes in a choice of Intel Core i3 or Celeron processors clubbed with 8GB of DDR3 RAM and includes 16GB of SSD storage. Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity is also supported. More information is expected to get revealed soon at Computex 2015.

All models ship with Windows 8.1 and a free upgrade to Windows 10 later this summer. The Aspire Switch 11 V 2-in-1 comes with an unspecified Intel Core M processor, and the firm is promising up to 8 hours of battery life. Like previous Aspire Switch models, the Switch 11 V with its Acer Snap Hinge 2 can convert into notebook, pad, tent, and display modes. The Aspire Switch 11 V features a Corning Gorilla Glass 3-protected 11.6-inch full-HD IPS display with Zero Air Gap. The company also said a new 10-inch model featuring the recently launched Intel Atom x5 processor will be announced later this year.
