Notion Ink Cain Windows 8.1 Tablet-Cum-Laptop Launched at Rs. 19,990

Indian firm Notion Ink on Thursday launched a tablet-cum-laptop hybrid dubbed Cain which will be exclusively available via Snapdeal at Rs. 19,990. The hybrid was launched in partnership with Intel and Microsoft.

The Notion Ink Cain runs Windows 8.1 and features a 10.1-inch WXVGA (1280x800 pixels) IPS LCD display with 10-point multi-touch.

Powered by the Intel Atom Z3735D (4 core, 4 threads, 1.33GHz base clock, up to 1.83GHz burst, 2MB cache) processor, the Cain features integrated Intel HD Graphics (up to 646MHz), and 2GB of DDR3L RAM. Besides housing 32GB of inbuilt storage with an external storage option, the Notion Ink's Cain tablet-cum-laptop is said to delivers up to 7 hours of video playback and 10 hours of Internet surfing through its 7900mAh Li-Po battery. The device also comes preloaded with a 1-year Microsoft Office 365 subscription.

Notably, Notion Ink is also famous for its much-anticipated but lukewarmly-received tablets, the Adam and Adam II, which are still available to buy from popular online retailers.
