Samsung India is all set to officially launch their 7-inch Galaxy Tab 2 in the country this week. It is expected to be priced at Rs. 23,250 (MRP), while select retailers have already started selling it for Rs. 19,500.

Company's official online store has also started taking pre-bookings for the tablet.

Originally show-cased at Mobile World Congress, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 aka 310 features Android 4.0, 1GHz dual core processor, 1GB RAM, and 7-inch PLS display with 1024x600p resolution. The tablet also comes with 3MP rear camera, front camera, 3G and voice-calling support.

This is the sixth Android tablet from the company to be released in the Indian market; other five being original Galaxy Tab, Galaxy Tab 750, 730, 680 and 620.
