Bose continues to expand its entertainment line-up with the VideoWave II system being the latest addition. The VideoWave II system features two screen sizes of 140cms and 117cms. The 140cms model will retail for Rs. 4,99,388 and the 117 cms model will be available for Rs. 4,19,513. Both models will be sold in select Bose stores mid September 2012.

The new Bose VideoWave II system, which replaces the former VideoWave system, combines the experience of an HD TV, a home theatre system and a music system.

The home theatre system promises a powerful sound experience courtesy a cluster of six high-performance woofers inside the system. These are carefully matched to a powerful acoustic Bose waveguide to deliver the impact of deep low notes with clear audio even at the highest listening levels.

The home theatre system boasts exclusive Bose PhaseGuide sound radiator technology that is combined with a seven-element speaker array and advanced Bose digital signal processing for a surround sound experience. Further, the Bose ADAPTiQ technology helps automatically adjust sound depending on the room's decor.

For music lovers, the new VideoWave system comes with an iPod/iPhone dock (iPhone 4S/ new iPad style). Users can browse through artists, songs and playlists displayed on the screen use the click pad remote for controls. There's also a video mute feature that can turn the screen off when desired,

Speaking of the HD TV capabilities, it features a 1080p LED backlit display boasting crisp and vivid images. The display, that can be wall mounted, also includes an aluminium-finish bezel for both model sizes. Additionally, the 140 cms screen comes with a thinner and sleeker frame.

The display is hooked up to a console which can further connect up to six devices, including an Apple TV, Blu-Ray Disc player and a set-top box. The TV can be operated with a touch-sensitive click pad remote with a few buttons making use of RF technology.

The Bose VideoWave II system has a detachable table stand and is compatible with third-party VESA wall brackets sold separately at an additional cost.
