In our weekly column, we bring you the best app deals of the week. This week, we have a bunch of browser-based games apart from awesome Mac, iOS and Android apps. We also have found a good discount on a popular PC game. Here are the best app deals of the week.

1. Tomb Raider Game of the Year Edition for PC
Tomb Raider was critically acclaimed but the retail sales figures were pretty low - so there's a pretty good chance that you might not have played the game yet. If so, you really have no excuse not to buy the Game of the Year Edition on Steam. For $7.49 (approximately Rs. 460) you get the original game along with 21 pieces of DLC. Tomb Raider is the "origin story" of the character and while the game was not without flaws, it was engaging and successfully updated the series. If you haven't already played this game, then you really should take advantage of the discount and play it now.

Steam: (Rs. 460, usually Rs. 1850)

2. EtreZip
EtreZip is a handy Mac app that lets you open zip files directly in Finder. You don't need to decompress the zip file to access its contents. Just open it with EtreZip and you'll be able to access the files just as you would access files in a network drive on a Mac. This can save time and is particularly useful if you're trying to manage your backups.

Mac: (Free, usually Rs. 300)

3. PrinterShare Mobile Print
Want to print documents and photos from your Android smartphone? You might want to try the Printershare Mobile Print app. That app is always free, but you'll also want to buy the PrinterShare Premium key, which has a 62 percent discount right now. This unlocks all the features in the app, and supports both Windows and Mac shared printers, aside from printing directly via WiFi or Bluetooth.

Android: (roughly Rs. 300, usually Rs. 800)

4. Byword
Markdown is a formatting system that can be converted to HTML using a tool called Markdown. This lets you quickly write posts and format them, without learning HTML. If you're a blogger, then Byword makes writing formatted posts easier on iOS, with full Markdown support. It also synchronises your text documents across Mac and iOS devices, and lets you export to PDF and HTML.

If any of these are on your wish list, this bundle might be worth buying. While this is a pretty good deal, the site requires you to register and some users have noted that it tends to send an excessive number of notifications.

Stacksocial: (Rs. 1850, usually Rs. 59,000)

6. Tiny Scan Pro
You can turn your iOS device into a fast, portable document scanner with Tiny Scan Pro. This app lets you take pictures of documents and turn them into scanned copies in pdf format.
