  • You can ask questions such as "What are the timings of Auto Expo"

Maruti Suzuki announced its partnership with Google to provide Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered voice assistance for the attendees of Auto Expo 2018. As a result of the new collaboration, Google Assistant will provide various information on the ongoing mega car show as well as detail about Maruti Suzuki exhibit. Users with a Google Assistant-compatible device will get answers to questions such as "What are the timings of Auto Expo?" or "Tell me highlights of Auto Expo?" from the virtual helper. The newest partnership comes months after Google announced various Google Assistant optimisations specifically targeted at Indian users.

You can transform Google Assistant into an advanced Maruti Suzuki voice helper by saying "OK Google" or pressing the home button, followed by "Go to Maruti Suzuki". After that, you can ask questions such as "Maruti Suzuki new launches", "Concept Car Launch", "Swift launch", and "NEXA Zone" among others. You can ask follow-up questions such as "Set reminder for Swift Launch" or "Show live launch video of Concept Future S" as well. Additionally, the latest development can be utilised to learn more about the Auto Expo. You can ask queries such as "Tell me highlights of Auto Expo", "Book Me a Pass For Auto Expo", "How to reach Auto Expo", and "How to get a free pass for Auto Expo". Questions about non-Maruti Suzuki exhibitions at Auto Expo 2018 did not elicit a response from Assistant, and only delivered Web search results.

It is worth noting here that you need to have a smartphone running Android Lollipop or later or an iPhone based on iOS 9.1 or above to experience the all-new voice assistance on Google Assistant.

At the Google for India event last December, Google announced certain optimisations on Google Assistant that were made primarily for Indian users. It showcased more natural conversations and better contextual responses on Google Assistant than before. The company also lately partnered with Indian sites like BookMyShow, Myntra, HDFC, SBI, and Healthifyme to let local users leverage the Actions on Google feature and interact with different services by passing their voice commands.
