The web slinging sensation has finally arrived to the Android and iOS platforms. Based on the popular movie just released of the same name, The Amazing Spider-Man game has been made by Gameloft, which has teamed up with Marvel, to launch the game app on Android and iOS based devices.

Amazing Spider-Man is a 3D action game that incorporates similar characters and environments as in the movie The Amazing Spider Man. Based on the original storyline, both Marvel and Gameloft have worked towards developing an immersive gameplay experience that stays true to the storyline of the action film.

The game provides a plethora of scenarios inspired from the film which feature in the 25 given missions such as taking down enemies and safeguarding citizens in various parts of the city, along with exploring the vast open spaces of Manhattan.

The game is an open world game where Spider-Man can explore the city through its five distinctive districts (Central Park, Business, Downtown, Pier and Residential), discovering random missions and collectibles.

The player gets to take on the Lizard (the primary villain in the movie) and various other hugs as well. This comes with the use various powers such as the ability to crawl, climb, jump and web-sling that make the Spider-Man franchise such a hit.

The Amazing Spider-Man game is a paid game and can be downloaded from Google Play Store and well and iTunes. For Android devices (Version 2.2 and above) and for iOS based devices (iOS 5 or above) one has to shell out around Rs. 390 for downloading the game.
