I needed a laptop for college, and was kind of worried about buying one because all of the ones my family has bought in the past six years have started having random problems which seem to be due to cheaply assembled hardware. This one has lasted through 4 months of college so far, and I've had no problems.It is plenty fast, though not super for gaming when intense graphics are in play. Probably games that are easier on the graphics would be fine, but I haven't tried that much. I do a lot on the internet for work as well as college, and I watch YouTube and Vudu and other TV sites a lot. No problems there.My only real problem with it is that I don't like the texture on the "lid". Thin sort of grooves that capture the oils from your fingers and leave it looking smudgy with lots of fingerprints. As soon as the warranty expires I'm going to sand it, and maybe spray paint it depending on how it looks after sanding.Is this review helpful?
