A report emerging from China suggests that Xiaomi is planning to enter the camera segment with a new product, which will likely be a GoPro-style action camera.

GizChina (via Mydrivers.com) reports that Xiaomi is working with a Shanghai-based company for the alleged GoPro-like device. The company reportedly plans to price its first action camera at as low as CNY 999 (roughly Rs. 10,000).

Some of the purported features of the device include a 138-degree wide angle lens, 4K video recording capability at 30fps, and full-HD video recording at 120fps. The site adds that the alleged action camera device from Xiaomi will support microSD card expansion (up to 128GB).
