About Last Week Tonight with John Oliver Season 4 Web Series

John Oliver is back with a buffet of power-packed reports from various facets of journalism — of course, along with the popular graphic characters.

During the previous seasons, Oliver had shared his fair share of strong opinions on Donald Trump. Now that the latter is officiating as the President, Oliver hasn’t shied away from taking a dig at his policies and their repercussions, all through the season.

Talking of previous seasons, the former Daily Show correspondent is doing a second episode on “net neutrality”.

His initial report on the same had 800,000 views on YouTube and over a million on the broadcast. Not to be surprised, it created a ripple effect with 45,000 comments on the FCC's electronic filing page about the net neutrality proposal, and the official website crashing down.

Some other topics spoken of in the season include legalisation of marijuana, the opioid epidemic, same-sex marriages, the proposed Republican tax reform, and anti-trust laws.

Oliver also interviews Noble Peace Prize Winner monk The Dalai Lama — besides a string of noted celebrities such as Tom Hanks.
