The seventh season shifts to its first-ever makeshift home studio avatar — fifth episode onwards — as the world is gripped tighter by COVID-19.
This season mainly focuses on the various aspects of the pandemic and the virus itself, and the way governments across the world have been handling the same.
One of the most controversial episodes is that on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi — which spoke at lengths about hatred against Muslims in India, the widespread protests regarding citizenship laws, and called Modi “a symbol of hate”. Disney+ Hotstar refused to air this episode in India, further igniting a backlash from fans.
