  • Industry sources speaking to Gadgets 360 confirmed this earlier

Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima's next game, Death Stranding would use the Decima engine made by Killzone studio Guerrilla Games. This has been confirmed at PlayStation Experience 2016 (PSX).

"We are very proud and honored to collaborate with @KojiPro2015_EN and sharing our @DecimaEngine with them," tweeted the official Guerrilla Games account.

Earlier, industry sources speaking to Gadgets 360 confirmed that the studio is indeed powering the tech behind Death Stranding. It is safe to say that Decima, or parts of it at least, are powering Guerrilla’s soon to be released Horizon Zero Dawn, although our sources were unable to confirm or deny that.

Action-adventure game Horizon Zero Dawn is exclusive to the PS4 and PS4 Pro. It fuses mechanical creatures with dense, lush forests in a post-apocalyptic setting. You can finally play it in 2017 on February 28 in the US, March 1 in India and Europe, and March 3 if you're in the UK. It was initially planned for sometime in 2016.

You can safely expect it to be priced in line with Sony's other first-party games such as Gran Turismo Sport. This means it will be Rs. 3,499 via PSN and Rs. 3,999 at retail on disc ($60 in the US).
