Highlights
  • FIFA 17 is available for Rs. 3,499 for the PS4 on Flipkart
  • Call of Duty: Ghosts is Rs. 199 on the PS3 on Amazon
  • FIFA 17 is also Rs. 1,000 less on Amazon India if you buy a PS4

It's the festive season sale, and video games are not to be left out. While FIFA 17 has just been made available to the greater public via Amazon, that hasn’t stopped Flipkart from dropping its price almost simultaneously.

While purchasing it on Amazon India would set you back by Rs. 3,999, the Flipkart sale has made it available for Rs. 1,000 less. If you have an SBI debit or credit card, you can get a further 10 percent off. This is for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game. Not the PS3 variant which costs Rs. 3,999. Unsurprisingly, an Xbox 360 version of the game is not for sale since the console isn’t being manufactured any more.

Other offers include a whopping 71 percent off on Battleborn making it Rs. 999 for the PS4 and Xbox One and Rs. 443 for PC, Dishonored Definitive Edition at Rs. 1,198 instead of the usual Rs 2,999 for the PS4 and Xbox One, and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare at Rs. 1,475 - which is 40 percent off for the PS4 and, while it's 23 percent off for the PC at Rs. 999.

As for the Amazon sale, Rs. 999 gets you Mirror’s Edge Catalyst for the PS4 or Star Wars Battlefront for the Xbox One. If you have a little more to spend, Rs. 1,500 gets you Street Fighter V for the PS4 and if you’re on a PS3, a ridiculously low Rs. 199 gets you Call of Duty: Ghosts. Our personal pick? Doom for the PS4 and Xbox One at Rs. 2,499. It’s a fair price for one of the best games this year. Strangely though, its PC version is nowhere to be found on disc, making Steam your only option. Looking for a discount on FIFA 17? Amazon will let you buy it for Rs. 1,000 less if you purchase a PS4.
