Speaking at the Startup Mahakumbh event, Goyal stressed that traditional business models are becoming obsolete within a decade or two due to evolving technology and distribution systems. He highlighted Zomato's journey of disruptive innovation, aiming to build generational businesses. Goyal mentioned Blinkit, Zomato's quick commerce venture, potentially surpassing its parent company in a year. Rajan Anandan of Peak XV Partners echoed Goyal's sentiment, emphasizing the importance of building high-quality businesses amidst ample capital availability, with the startup ecosystem poised to attract billions in funding this year.
