Yahoo on Friday launched its Flickr Wall Art for international markets. Launched in the US in October, Flickr Wall Art is essentially a service by the company that turns Flickr images into 'museum-quality' Canvas Wrap and Photo Mounts to hang on walls that can be purchased by any user. Earlier the creations were only available to ship in the US, but they are now available for shipping to international markets including India.

Flickr members can not only choose images from their own personal photo stream, but can also order from a Yahoo's hand-picked collections containing pictures from the likes of Nasa and a bunch of images based on themes like like travel, abstract etc. The collection includes Creative Commons images and those from Flickr's licensed artists.

If you want to get one of your own pics for your living room, you need to visit the Wall Art experience zone by clicking on the Wall Art icon in the Share menu from the Photo Page view on any of their photos. Here they can select the product type, and change its size, zoom and position of the image.

You can get varied print size, from 8x10 inches to 20x30 inches. The company says that Photo Mounts are printed with professional grade paper, mounted with 1-inch wood-textured edges. Consumers can also select Gallery Canvas Wrap, which is an artist-grade canvas stretched across a traditional 1.25-inch wood frame.
