The iPhone 12 Pro Max is Apple's most ambitious iPhone yet, and naturally commands a steep premium too. In my iPhone 12 Pro review, I mentioned that even though the smaller Pro model is a superb offering, it's probably not the smartest choice. If you are thinking of going all-out on your iPhone purchase this year, then you should probably look at spending a bit more and getting the iPhone 12 Pro Max instead. After using it for a week, I think I was right in making that assumption.
iPhone 12 Pro Max Summary
iPhone 12 Pro Max mobile was launched on 13th October 2020. The phone comes with a 6.70-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1284x2778 pixels at a pixel density of 458 pixels per inch (ppi). The display sports Other for protection. iPhone 12 Pro Max is powered by a hexa-core Apple A14 Bionic processor. The iPhone 12 Pro Max supports wireless charging, as well as proprietary fast charging.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the iPhone 12 Pro Max on the rear packs a 12-megapixel (f/1.6) primary camera; a 12-megapixel (f/2.4) camera, and a 12-megapixel (f/2.2) camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It sports a 12-megapixel camera on the front for selfies with an f/2.2 aperture.
iPhone 12 Pro Max is based on iOS 14 and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage. The iPhone 12 Pro Max is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and eSIM cards. The iPhone 12 Pro Max measures 160.80 x 78.10 x 7.40mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 228.00 grams. It was launched in Gold, Graphite, Pacific Blue, and Silver colours. It features an IP68 rating for dust and water protection.
Connectivity options on the iPhone 12 Pro Max include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, Lightning, 3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India) , and 5G. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and compass/ magnetometer. The iPhone 12 Pro Max supports face unlock with 3D face recognition.

Iphones from the very onset have been about performance and getting tasks done rather than gimmicks. Camera even though 12 mp is best in class. Display and audio quality are immersive and impressive. Call quality has been good. Enabling e sim drains battery a bit much more quickey imo.** Honestly, unless u want a big size iphone that can create a 3-D map of object around you, you don't need to go for 12 pro max go for iphone 12. It ticks most of the boxes at almost half the price.Is this review helpful?
